(Low-Carb High-Quality) – The Grilled Sweet Potatoes are a delicious little meal that is great for dinner or as a healthy snack for guests. You only need 4 ingredients and 2 spices. The recipe is prepared in a few steps, then quickly completed in the oven.

Low-Carb Tips

  • 1 sweet potato (or yam)
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 100 g bacon
  • 200 g buffalo mozzarella
  • nutmeg
  • ground pepper
  • 1 sweet potato (or yam)
  • 7.1 oz tomatoes
  • 3.5 oz bacon
  • 7.1 oz buffalo mozzarella
  • nutmeg
  • ground pepper



Preheat oven to 160°C / 320°F (circulating air) or 180°C / 355°F (top / bottom heat).


Peel and slice the sweet potato. Also cut the tomatoes and the buffalo mozzarella into slices.


Season the individual sweet potato slices with a little nutmeg to taste and cover them with the bacon, then add the tomato slices and the buffalo mozzarella slices.


Put the sweet potatoes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.


Season the baked sweet potatoes with freshly ground pepper to taste. Enjoy!
