  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 rod of leek
  • clarified butter (ghee) for frying
  • 600 g ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g sour cream 14%
  • 100 g grated gouda
  • 1 bell pepper

  • 21.2 oz ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 7.1 oz sour cream 14%
  • 3.5 oz grated gouda



Preheat oven to 180°C / 355°F (circulating air) or 200°C / 390°F (top / bottom heat)


Cut the bell pepper into rings and the leek into slices, then steam the vegetables in a pan with some clarified butter.


Prepare a bowl and mix the ground beef with the eggs, the diced onion and some salt and pepper to taste.


Line the springform (18cm / 7 in) with parchment paper and cover the ground and edges with beef-mix.


Fill the center with the steamed vegetables.


Prepare a creme for the low-Carb Beef Pie: Mix the sour cream and eggs to a bowl, then add the mixture to the vegetables in the springform.


Cover the Pie with grated gouda and bake in oven for approx. 40 minutes.


Remove the springform and the parchment paper at the edges and the Low-Carb Beef Pie is finished.
