Low-Carb Tips

  • 1 globe of mozzarella
  • 100 g bacon
  • 50 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 fistful of fresh basil
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 globe of mozzarella
  • 7.1 oz bacon
  • 3.6 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 1 fistful of fresh basil
  • pepper to taste



Halve the mozzarella globe lengthwise. Carefully hollow out the two halves in the center with a kitchen knife, but keep the mozzarella remainders for the filling.


Halve the cherry tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. Repeat for the mozzarella remainders and basil leaves.


Put the minced ingredients in a bowl and season with pepper to taste. Mix the ingredients carefully with each other.


Distribute the tomato mozzarella mixture evenly into the hollowed mozzarella halves and carefully close the two halves against each other.


Then place 3 pieces of bacon next to each other and place the stuffed mozzarella ball in the center.


Cover the ball with the bacon from both sides and take the rest of the bacon strips to wrap them around. Make sure the bacon is taut and flat around the mozzarella ball. Secure the bacon mozzarella bomb with toothpicks or small wooden skewers.


Heat a pan and fry the bacon mozzarella bomb vigorously from all sides. Evenly roll the ball in the pan until the bacon is crispy. Enjoy!
